Jennifer creates this mug with layered colors of slip and carves through to reveal the design. One of the unique features of this mug is the cutout for the thumb on the top, which makes it incredibly comfortable to hold.
The handle and interior is glazed with black and the pattern is left matte. Made with porcelain and glaze that is food, dishwasher, microwave safe. Actual size is 3.5" wide x 4" tall. Holds approximately 15 ounces.

Jennifer hand makes each piece in her Seattle area studio. She fires all work in an electric kiln at midrange firing of approx. 2200 degrees (cone 4-6 depending on the clay body). Her ceramics are food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
